(1) Receivers are precision machined from 4340 chrome moly steel and heat treated to 45-48 RC.  The bolt uses even tougher 9310 steel, carborized to 60 RC.  Helical fluted bolts aids reliability.  Flutes reduce weight and sweep away grit helping to keep the action operating smoothly in harsh environments. 

(2) 30 MOA Base comes standard on 50 CAL rifles and actions. You may also choose a 45 MOA or 60 MOA base for extreme distance shooting.

(3) Tapped for 6 Heavy Duty 8-32 Scope Base Screws. These are larger screws than standard rifles to stand up to the recoil of the 50 caliber cartridge.  An additional two 8-32 holes are positioned out front to accomodate the long McCann night vision base. 

(4) Cutout for Recoil Lug Pin. A recoil lug that is pinned to the receiver will not shift in its bedding when the rifle barrel is replaced.

Bench Rest - Single shot with right hand bolt and left hand ejection port.  Bolt face is not machined for an ejector.
